Who is responsible
LucidSocial, operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is responsible for the personal information collected through lucidsocial.ai. For anything about your information, email hello@lucidsocial.ai.
What we collect
When you apply. The Apply form asks for your brand’s monthly online revenue, your content budget, how much you publish now, your role, your brand name and website, your name and work email, and anything you choose to tell us about your goals. We also record the time you applied and the page you applied from.
When you email us. Your email address and whatever you include in your message.
When you browse. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. It records pages viewed, the site that referred you, your country, device and browser type, and a few events: which Apply button you pressed, how far you got through the form, and whether you submitted it, together with the revenue and budget ranges you picked. It never records your name, email or free-text answers.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser and request details, for a short period to run and protect the site.
Investor area. The investor area is open only to invited email addresses. When you sign in, we record your email and the time, and set one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not record which documents you open.
How we use it
- To reply to you, judge whether we are a good fit, prepare for a call and send you a proposal.
- To understand which parts of the site help people decide, so we can improve it.
- To keep the site and the investor area secure.
- To meet our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Our legal grounds
Where data protection law needs a legal ground, we rely on taking steps you have asked for before a possible contract (your application), our legitimate interest in running and improving our business and keeping the site secure, your consent where the law requires it, and compliance with legal obligations. This applies under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, for visitors in those regions, the EU and UK GDPR.
International transfers
Our providers store and process information in other countries, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Applications and emails: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and as long afterwards as the law requires.
- Analytics: kept in aggregate and never linked to you.
- Server logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider.
- Investor sign-in cookie: 7 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or receive a copy. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email hello@lucidsocial.ai and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the UAE Data Office or the authority in your country.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to applications is limited to the people who need them, and the investor area is protected by a password and a signed, secure cookie. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us sensitive information we have not asked for.
Children
The site is for businesses and is not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
